Once users purchase the ebook, they will be able to download to their iPad device. The iBookstore will be the only way where users can purchase the ebooks to use within the iBook application.

Digital rights management is not necessary since the content cannot be copied to another device once It is downloaded from the iBookstore. Apple has implemented the same iPhone technology on iPad so that is a closed and locked device. Other users will not be able to access the underlying file system. The books that are purchased from iBookstore can only be read with the built- in ibook reader app in iPad.
